Higher Level Learning For Serious Musicians

Our Industry classes are designed to stretch students wanting to take their education further. Classes are Industry focused creating a significant opportunity for students to develop into confident musicians and gain the broad range of musicianship skills needed to thrive in our industry at either a recreational or even a professional level.

This program expands on the foundations covered in our Establish program introducing deeper layers of understanding. To work at this level students need to have achieved outcomes set out in our Establish program and have the option to take Industry alongside their private lessons or by itself.

These small group classes will combine band work such as interaction, playing together, songwriting, gig prep, recording and so on and extend on Industry-specific knowledge around, booking gigs, developing shows, working a soundboard, developing a music brand, safe use of facebook/youtube/Soundcloud, content development and so much more.

Students will also become part of our performance squad receiving extra performance opportunities not available in other programs.

Our Industry program is broken up into three separate years of education that can be completed together or individually.

Elevate

Deep Dive Into The Industry

Grow upon skills developed in our Establish and we Rock program and elevate to a new level adding fresh new skills to your overall musicianship skill set. Students will learn about what they need to do to participate as a professional so they can put it into practice in future years. This year is all about setting up and developing skills needed to complete the professional level.

Elite

Deep Dive Into The Industry

This is the year to refine skills and put them into practise. Students join our performance squad and start to test out their retained skills. Students immerse themselves in community involvement and take part in performances outside of the academy’s training walls. Students will not only consolidate previous learning but pivot into learning the significant skills needed to become part of the Elite. This year students will prepare to get ready for the Professionals year by further developing original content that will be used towards the professional level.

Professionals

Deep Dive Into The Industry

This is the year of doing. Challenge yourself at the highest level of education at the academy and immerse yourself in real life professional projects and goals. Experience what it’s like to partake in the professional world including writing and recording an EP, developing a personal brand, a pro musicians photo shoot, live gigs, and of course, a graduating showcase. Students will also get a taste of teaching and mentorship learning about what it’s like from our perspective in the classroom.

Industry FAQs

  • As our Industry classes contain high levels of learning we require students have already developed a certain amount of skill level before joining them.

    We require our current students to have completed outcomes Establish Program before entering this program.

    For new students wanting to enter directly into this program a minimum of 3 years former lessons is required and/or audition so we can ensure your skills are developed enough to work at this level.

  • Yes. However, we do reccomend doing them in conjunction with instrumental classes for the best result.

  • Acceptance into Industry classes is obtained by fulfilling certain musicianship skills in our Establish program. Therefore, We expect that students under the age of 13 most likely will not be participating in this course.

    However, we do not hold students back. If a young student is ready we will support their education with direct communication with guardian/s.
